Access Control
Access Control upon verification of authorization includes a gained or denied entry into a secure area. Along with a person requesting entry is an audit of who and when that person was at that particular location.

With many reasons why a business or a landlord may need to have an access control system installed we can survey your need and install a system, such as the ones manufactured by Identicard, that best fits your situation.

  • There are many different electronic type keys available. The most common are proxy card badges that are normally worn by the individual as a form of identification as well as using it to gain entry to a doorway. We provide these badges with a custom design chosen by the customer.
  • Smart Cards are also common they provide the same function as the as the above mentioned proximity badges but they can be used to do much more. For example they can be used for:
  • Time and Attendance
  • Guard Tour Information
  • Health Records Equipment and Material Check-out
  • Transit Passes Loyalty and Membership Programs
  • Digital Cash
  • HVAC Control
  • Information Access Authorization
  • Access to Office Equipment
  • And much more
  • Visitor control Management. After installing an access control system your building is secure, all the people that need to gain access have badges to let them get around the building. But when a visitor comes to the building what normally happens without having a Visitor Control program this person either gets escorted around by someone or is given a badge that he or she needs to remember to return to the front desk. A problem arises in both situations, if the person is being escorted there is no record that this person was even in the building and only the escort knows where the person has been. If the person is given a generic badge that needs to be returned then the data in the access controls system doesn't identify who the person is to someone who is monitoring the system. There is a simple and inexpensive solution to these problems. It is to have a Visitor Control Management program. This program uses inexpensive paper badges that are programmed by the person giving them out. The person will be enter in as a visitor, all the information identifying the person will be logged, he or she will have access to certain parts of the building only and the card will expire as needed. When the time expires the paper badge can be thrown away.

  • Security Systems
Security systems along with the right locks on your doors is an essential part in keeping your properties safe. Along with a piercing siren sounding an intrusion Kleppers offers a 24-hour monitoring system that alerts Fire and Police departments to your property.

    Residential Security Systems.
There are many options in these systems. For example we can install a system that will alert the authorities and create an audible siren if a particular door is opened or if multiple doors are on the system then if any one of the doors is opened while the system is armed.

Also we can add on a sensor that will detect if a window was broken.

There are also motion detectors that can sense if a person has entered your Property, but if you have pets that are under a certain weight the system can tell the difference if it is your dog just roaming around the house or if it is a real intruder.

Smoke, fire and carbon dioxide detection can be can be added on with our systems.

Driveway notification is also a very important option that can be considered. It is made to let you know if someone has entered your property or can be used to illuminate a passage for you when you get home in the evening.

We also post a visible warning sign indicating that your house is being protected by Kleppers Security Source to deter intruders.

    Commercial Security Systems.
Similarly as the residential Security Systems we can provide more options.

Along with intrusion and smoke, fire and carbon dioxide detection there are a few more options in a commercial application that need to be focused on.

In a building where there are many people we have to make sure that in case of an emergency these people can exit the building as safely and as simply as possible.

I case of fire there is a need to make sure the fire doesn't spread easily so there are systems that shut doors making certain areas of a building such as stair cases a safe passage to evacuate.

Lighting can be installed that will illuminate which way to go to the closest exit.

Along with sensors that detect smoke and fire we can install fire alarm (pull in case of an emergency) switches that activate the alarm manually.

Also these switches can be installed in an intruder situation. Making areas of interest lock where needed still leaving evacuation routes available all in the mean while alerting the authorities with or without an audible siren.

There is also an option to control and monitor these systems remotely by the use of a modem and computer.

    CCTV- Surveillance
Closed Circuit Television- Surveillance Systems have come a long way. Traditional black and white video recorders reveal a fuzzy image, with technology moving at a fast pace Kleppers installs quality systems that bring true color, clear video for playback on a digital format. With the REMOTE EYES surveillance systems there are a lot of quality options that are available, from the simple stand-alone camera and monitor to more sophisticated systems like:

A PC based application where you can record using digital format that can be burned onto a DVD or emailed to the authorities so they can quickly get the information they need to capture a vandal or intruder.

These types of systems can be accessed remotely so you can monitor the area from your computer at home or anywhere else you have internet access.

The systems come with a variety ways of adjusting the program to your needs you can do things like choose the frame rate, adjust resolution, have the system turn itself on only if there is any movement, have it on all the time, watch many different areas at once, even record using night vision in dark areas.

You also have options on what kind of cameras to be used such as vandal proof cameras, or covert cameras that looks like smoke detectors.

They can be installed either hardwired or wirelessly making installing it very versatile.

    Telephone entry systems/ intercoms
For properties that are in need of having a secure entrance without having someone come to the door every time the doorbell rings. Telephone entry systems are a comfortable solution for receptionists, tenants and other people that need to keep a distance from the doorway where visitors are requesting entry.
